Production Director

The Production Director is responsible for the “staging” of the event. They prepare the budget, manage agreements with suppliers and coordinate production staff. During the event, they are the organisational point of reference and their primary goal is to keep to the budget and ensure the flawless execution of the event. They may also handle contract drafting and the procedures required for permits. The production team varies depending on the type of event to be delivered. The Production Director may work alongside a Technical Production Director, to whom they delegate the most technical and technological aspects.
