PROGEA
Master in Trade Show, Event and Congress Design and Management
START: 18 NOVEMBER 2025
PROGEA is the Master’s programme dedicated to the creation and management of exhibitions, trade shows, events, and congresses. It is promoted by Accademia Fiera Milano in collaboration with the University of Milan.
This intensive and immersive programme prepares Exhibition and Event Managers, capable of overseeing the conception, design, and organisation of both individual and large-scale events.
Updated annually, it aligns with the evolving exhibition and event industry and offers numerous professional development opportunities, including internships and real project work.
Didactics
The Master is structured into 500 hours divided into four modules with theoretical lessons, practical exercises, workshops, and orientation.
Classes take place Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with extended sessions until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Attendance is mandatory (minimum 75%) and the final exam consists of presenting an internship report.
Marketing & Communication
Exhibition/event product strategy, competitor analysis, pricing, media partners, suppliers, venue selection, web & social promotion.
Concept & Brand
Brand identity as a starting point for communication concepts for exhibitions and events.
Visual & Set-Ups
Materials, exhibition layouts, and exhibition design project supervision.
Organization & Management
Planning and managing exhibitions, congresses, and events.
Personal Branding
CV development, job search tools, interview simulations, career guidance.
TOTAL 60 CFU
Real exhibition projects
Students work on a real international exhibition or event, applying design thinking, analysis, and creativity tools.

Open to Bachelor’s/Master’s graduates with relevant experience.
