“In Fiera We Stand” – Training for Stand Builders
InFieraWeStand was created with the aim of training technical and operational professionals specialised in the setup of exhibitions, events, concerts, art installations, and congresses.
The programme alternates classroom-based learning with hands-on work alongside our partner companies. During the training months, apprentices can acquire both practical and theoretical skills in areas such as stand assembly and dismantling, material handling, lighting design, electrical systems, and executive planning.
The educational offering is enriched by the contributions of ASAL Assoallestimenti, Fiera Milano, Nolostand, and the companies that host the students.
Programme Structure
In the first phase, all students follow a shared training path before specialising according to the role they will take on within the company.
Throughout the course, a wide range of topics will be covered:
- Introduction to exhibitions and events
- Workplace safety and legal compliance
- Soft skills
- Woodworking: techniques, equipment, drafting, and measuring tools
- Metalworking: aluminium
- Upholstery for exhibition setups: materials, equipment, panels, and coverings
- Artistic installations
- Electrical systems and basic hydraulics
- Assembly and dismantling techniques
- Logistics and warehouse management
- Operational safety
Faculty
The teaching staff is composed of trainers and professionals with extensive expertise across the various facets of the exhibition setup sector. All courses combine theory and practice: throughout the entire programme, students work on real projects, applying and deepening the knowledge acquired during theoretical sessions.
