SaloneSatellite

Within the Exhibition Design module, the students of the Master MEED at Accademia Fiera Milano took part in an immersive workshop on SaloneSatellite, the section of the Salone del Mobile.Milano dedicated to young designers. Coordinated by Jacopo Abbate of Studio Boeri, they observed the setup of the event, engaging with Marva Griffin, founder and curator of SaloneSatellite, and with the architects of the Belo Dias studio, authors of the exhibition design. The workshop continued with a visit to the Nolostand production facilities, where they explored the use of steel and the materials actually employed in the construction of trade show installations.

These field experiences provided the tools to develop new creative proposals for SaloneSatellite through concepts that enhance the identity of young designers, the dialogue among the various actors involved, and attention to sustainability, functionality, and the visual impact of the spaces.
