Creative Director at Alphaomega, one of the most important event agencies in Italy, Maurizio Thiebat is the coordinator of the Concept & Brand module in the master in Trade Show, Event and Congress Design and Management. He also teaches how creative direction works within an event and how to develop a concept starting from a client brief.
Bio
Maurizio Thiebat is Executive Creative Director of the Alphaomega Group. A journalist, author and curator of television programs, he has worked in communication for over 25 years.
He has led interdisciplinary creative teams in the conception and development of corporate and institutional multimedia projects and product launches for international brands including Audi, Barilla, Telecom Italia, Terna, Volkswagen Group, ENIT, the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Agriculture.
From 2008 to 2012 he was a consultant for the Italian National Olympic Committee, responsible for the “Italia Team” marketing and communication plan. In this role, he developed the project, content, communication and events for CONI’s hospitality house across three editions of the Olympic Games: Beijing 2008, Vancouver 2010 and London 2012.
From a creative standpoint, he managed the enhancement of sponsorships with each of CONI’s brand partners, including Armani, Banca Intesa, Ferrero and Freddy.
As head of the Alphaomega Group’s creative team since 2013, he has designed and curated cultural projects for Eni, as well as integrated communication and live communication projects for the agency’s main clients: ALD Automotive, Arena, AXA, Bulgari, BNL BNP Paribas, Credem, Enel, Eni, Ferrero, Generali, Philip Morris and Reale Group.
